Me in a nutshell. |
Me again...I am a third year student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Biomedical Sciences, focusing on biomechanics and nutrition. During my time in Guelph I became a certified personal trainer, and volunteered with the YMCA in their pilot program Fitness for Function; a progressive workout program for individuals affected by neurological disorders. I feel as though my experiences as an undergraduate student provided me with a strong foundation for my studies at CMCC. In my spare time (which is not very often...) I enjoy being outside, running, working out with friends, and spending time with family and loved ones. Also, I LOVE COOKING and wish I had more time to experiment in the kitchen!

About this blog. |
Over the next four years, this blog will be my outlet for everything chiropractic; documenting my progression through this new and exciting chapter of life. I became connected with chiropractic in my second year of university, when injuries prevented me from pursuing my athletic passions. As an Indigenous student, I bring with me a holistic perspective to the evidence-based medicine model of chiropractic. I aspire to further grow as a student in the health care profession and develop my ideologies along the way.
